Wicks Organ Co. Opus 5179 (1971)

stpaul lutheran

Technical Details

Wicks Direct Electric(©) chests.

Three manuals. 24 stops. 36 registers. 30 ranks. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

Notes

Built as a new organ in a new building, after a fire destroyed the earlier church building in 1968. Pipes from an earlier Wicks organ survived and were used in this instrument. Some minor tonal changes involving reeds and completion of initially prepared-for stops were completed during the 1970s. (James Cook. December 13, 2008)
