About Us

new-mexico-map-28633032 origThe Albuquerque Chapter of the American Guild of Organists serves central and northern New Mexico, including the Albuquerque metropolitan area, Santa Fe – the state capital, Taos, and other towns and cities in the mountains and plains of northern New Mexico.

The purpose of the American Guild of Organists is to promote the organ in its historic and evolving roles, to encourage excellence in the performance of organ and choral music, and to provide a forum for mutual support, inspiration, education, and certification of Guild members.

The Albuquerque Chapter has around 55 to 60 members, living mainly throughout the Albuquerque – Santa Fe corridor, with some members in smaller communities in the northern mountains. However, membership is not exclusive to these geographical areas. We welcome members from any community, having members as far south as Carlsbad, NM, as well as from southern Colorado.

Other AGO chapters in our area include:

Las Cruces Chapter, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Denver Rocky Mountain Chapter, Colorado

San Antonio Chapter, Texas
