St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Albuquerque, a progressive church seeks pianist to substitute once a month to:

Accompany Choir Rehearsal Thursday — 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Play for Worship Service Sunday — 8:45-10:45 a.m. (including solo service music, hymns, and choral arrangements)

Pay is $185. Applicant must be able to play piano competently, select and prepare solo service music, accompany congregational singing and choir, and sight read four-part choral music.

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Albuquerque, is seeking an Organist/Choir Director. This position is for Sunday worship at 10:30 A.M., special services (Holy Week, Christmas Eve), weddings, and burials. Choir rehearsal is at 9:30 A.M. between the 8 and 10:30 services. The salary is $175 per service for the first three months of probation and $200 per service when probation is successfully completed (salary for weddings and burials are separate and set by the Organist and paid for by the family). The position requires that staff member to attend quarterly worship planning meetings and consulting with the rector on monthly music selections for worship. The time commitment is approximately 6 hours per week.
