Church of the Good Shepherd (United Church of Christ), Albuquerque, seeks a part-time organist to play for one weekly Sunday service, as well as those supplemental services on the Christian calendar. COGS is progressive Christian church with a growing congregation and a part-time music staff of five degreed professionals.
The organist is responsible for performing three or four service pieces at each service, as well as hymns selected by the Director of Music. Occasionally the organist attends choir rehearsals and accompanies the choir when the anthem stylistically requires it. However, the pianist usually accompanies choir anthems.
